It's Fall..I'm back!

Wow! Did everyone find that the summer just flew by, or is it just me?! I lost track of my blog there for a bit in August. Life just got busy!

Shaun's parents came for a visit in July, then my Mom and sister came for a visit. Followed by our church VBS, then a trip to Halifax! We had a wonderful summer!

I will post some pictures of some of the events of the summer!

185) Delicious fish & chips with family last night at our favourite spot! Worth the 45 minute drive. This was one of my summer wishes - just to taste that amazing dish once more! And thanks to Bamp & Nan for treating us last night!

187) Death by Chocolate (FARMERS BRAND) ice cream!!!! Yes, another summer wish!! I finally found it! (Can you tell vacation is going well?)

Busy times!

Well, I have been slack with my posts for the past 10 days or so! Life has been busy!

My Mom, Diana & Isabel came for a visit last week, which was amazing, as Shaun and I had lots of VBS preparations to do, as well as a wedding last week!

Now this week, VBS is up and running, so when I get home at the end of the day, it's time to regroup, and get to bed to be fresh for the morning!

Braeya LOVES carrots!

First time eating carrots..and she loved them MUCH better than bland old cereal! I'm going to start mixing a bit with cereal - maybe that will help her along!

Braeya loves her sippy cup!

She doesn't fully grasp the idea of getting any liquid out of it herself, but she LOVES chewing on it, and loves having someone hold it up so she can get a drink!

Braeya - 6 months!

Looking very unsure here..just pulled her out of the car seat in 102 degree weather! Felt like 125 with humidity! Hot day!!! I think she prefers the comforts of air conditioning in the car and at home!

Braeya has learned the art of Peek-a-boo!

She will play peek-a-boo as long as you will! That could be 20 times over! LOL

Braeya learned how to play peek-a-boo all by herself! She has two teeth now as well, so when you see her chewing on something in her mouth, it's her playing with her teeth! Too funny.

Soother? Nope!

Braeya would never take a soother, since she was born (she might fuss around with it if you hold it in), but she's never taken it on her own.

Well, this is why! She sucks without a soother! This shows a little clip..I'll try to get a better one later. Sometimes she really gets going...sucking as hard as anything, on nothing!!

When she was younger, I was always wishing she would take one..to help settle her, but now that she won't take one, and she's a bit older, I think it's worked out ok as I never have to go in at night to put her soother back in! She's got her own built in sucking device all on her own!

A friend wrote me a few weeks back, requesting a crying picture (because they find it hard to believe she actually cries!) Well, this is for you (and you know who you are!!) She does cry, believe me! This isn't one of the better crying pictures, but the only one I have for now! But overall, she is a very happy kid. Enjoys lots of laughs!
