Well, we made it to Essex! It's been 12 days, and we are completely settled in, pictures hung and seems like we've been here for years!
My parents came up to help us get settled for a week, as well as Diana and Paul, so they really helped get us going, otherwise, I would still be in the middle of the room crying surrounded by boxes!
The folks here in Essex have been MORE than kind to us. They are making us feel at home, and that means a lot.
Yesterday, we got our internet, phone and cable finally hooked up, so you can imagine how excited we were. Nice to be able to keep in touch with people better.
It's been beautiful here. Earlier this week it was apparently 110 degrees, with the humidity! WOW! Hot days! Supposed to get hotter this summer.
We are loving our new home, and being settled. Shaun is really enjoying his new job at the church, and is keeping very busy. Lots to plan - VBS later in August, other children's programs and events, so it's great!

Mmm! The lunch I prepared for Shaun yesterday. I'm not working yet, so the least I can do is have his lunch ready when he comes home! Takes him only 30 sec. drive to get from home to church, so he has a long lunch hour home which is nice!
